Woodbadge 1 Canadian Path Camp

Fraser Valley Council – Wood Badge I for Canadian Path Weekend Camp

Foundational Scouter training for Colony, Pack, Troop, Company, Crew,
Group Commissioner, Group Youth Commissioner
November 17 – 19, 2017

This training is an opportunity to supplement your online training with in-person, hands-on experience, take your basic training in-person rather than online, or brush up on Canadian Path practices. You will learn from a team of veteran Scouters drawn from throughout the Fraser Valley Council while meeting Scouters from other groups – likely with the same challenges and questions you have.

Wood Badge 1 for the Canadian Path training is a pre-requisite to being an active Scouter, whether taken online or in-person. It aims to provide Scouters with all the basics required to effectively operate a section as part of a team of volunteers, ultimately leading to advanced Wood Badge 2 training.

Please note that all participants will need to have completed Scouting Fundamentals training (which also includes Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders training) prior to attending.
